The Daffidols are here, the Tulips are coming!

The cool weather has delayed the Tulips a bit but the Daffodils are in bloom this weekend.¬† However, that doesn’t mean you can’t come to Skagit Valley¬†and have a great weekend!¬†¬†Skagit Valley is gorgeous this time of year.¬† (Actually it is always gorgeous!)¬†

The Tulips are Coming! The Tulips are Coming!

The winter in Anacortes and La Conner seemed much longer this year, but finally the snow geese are heading are leaving our area and the white will be replaced with acres of brilliant colors. 

The 26th Annual Tulip Festival begins April first and runs the entire month of April.  These glorious signs of spring bring joy to those of us in Anacortes and La Conner as well as tourist that come to Skagit Valley.  If you would like to see a gallery of beautiful tulip photosfrom Roozengaarde, click here.

The DOT is improving Skagit County

The Department of Transportation has 11 projects in Skagit County.
