This year’s Anacortes Boat Parade is sure to be well atortestended.¬† For the¬†past two years the boat parade was cancelled due to high wind so boatersare anxious to cruise up and down Guemes Channel showing off the lighted and decorated boats.¬† The Anacortes boat parade will start at 5 PM, and the weather forecast looks good

Boats¬† will cruise from Cap Sante¬†west down the Guemes Channel¬†making a U-turn at the¬† center channel marker about one mile east of the Washington State Ferry terminal.¬† Don’t miss this fun event that is one more reason that Anacortes is a great place to live!

Lighted Boat Parade

Anacortes, the boating capital of the NW, celebrates the season with a Lighted Boat Parade on December 19th, 2009. 

The boats leave Cap Sante Boat Haven at 5:30 and travel Guemes Channel to the end of Guemes Island and return.¬† Don’t miss this fun annual Holiday tradition!
