Bark in the Park was a HUGE Success

The fifth annual Bark in the Park was well attended by not only Anacortes residents, but lots of visitors that came to enjoy all of the activities.

Brian Geer (Executive Director for the   American Red Cross РAnacortes-San Juan Islands Chapter) did a fabulous job of being MC for the event.  There were lots of demonstrations by dog teams, peanut butter eating competition, costume competitions and more.

Coldwell BankerIsland Living hosted a competition for event attendees to guess how many dog kernels were in a jar.  The correct answer was 1616 kernels!  The winner was Anacortes resident Pat Higgins who guessed 1525!  Congratulations!

Coldwell Banker Island Living agents are dog lovers since I (Jingles) am the mascot of the office.

Here are some photos you will enjoy.  As you can tell, everyone was tired at the end of the day!
