Seminars (2 hours)- $50 in advance, $60 on site

Experience first-class education, demonstrations, and learn the latest in marine products and services; all while enjoying sharing cruising tales and adventures with fellow cruisers! There are many different seminars that you can sign up for that vary in topics to fit your personal interests, make sure to register for a $10 discount in advance! Anacortes Trawler Fest – May 14-19

As the weather gets warmer, boats in the Anacortes Cap Sante Marina start to emerge!  This year it is happening just in time for the annual Anacortes Trawler Fest.

The Anacortes Trawler Fest isn’t your average boat show! This event lasts from Tuesday May 14th till Sunday May 19th, and is sure to be a week of fun for all.

The AnacortesTrawler Fest offers different university courses along with additional seminars that include topics such as open water cruising and cruising confidence. There are also opportunities to bond with other boat enthusiasts over breakfast, lunch, cocktail hour,  a themed dinner party, and other on-land and on-water activities! Whether you are an exhibitor or an attendee, it is sure to be a boat load of fun!

WELCOME TO ANACORTES TRAWLER FEST 2011!

Anacortes is thrilled to be able to host Trawler Fest for the fourth year!

Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes is hosting Trawler Fest, a combination boat show, rendezvous and educational offering expected to draw about 2,500 trawler enthusiasts from around the United States and countries as far away as Europe. About 70 new and used boats will be on display, ranging in price from about $60,000 up to $4 million.

Many familiar brands will be represented, such as Ranger Tugs, Nordhaven, Grand Banks and Kadey-Krogen, among others. The new Maine Cat P-47 will make its debut at the show, and other notable boats include a new Camano 31.

“There’s something for everybody,” said Will Carlsen, exhibitor sales director. “We really have boats that fit anybody’s budget.”

Passage Maker University” will offer all-day seminars on diesel engine maintenance, boat handling for women, boat systems and couples cruising. Most spots are already filled, which Carlsen sees as a sign that boaters have weathered the recession and are ready to get out on the water again.

As you pass through the welcoming arch through downtown Anacortes’ Main Street, you experience the strong nautical flavor and history that this town offers.
